About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Snyder is a ninth-generation East Tennessean and a direct descendant of Zachariah Isbell, an early leader of the Watauga Association and one of the five men who served on its governing court. The Watauga Association, established in 1772, was one of the earliest examples of self-government in what became Tennessee and is often regarded as a landmark in the development of constitutional government in America.

Liz's business is grounded in a multigenerational understanding of the region’s micro-market dynamics, relentless client advocacy, and a commitment to preservation that goes beyond aesthetics. With a background in international affairs, legal strategy, and public policy, including time with the Tennessee Speaker of the House, Liz brings a rare blend of local fluency and institutional sharpness.
